Def Mute Records is proud to announce the release of DJ VoiceCrack's all new 10th studio album Music Inspired By The Enforcers: Freedom to Wield Will. So this double album marks the 20th anniversary of Def Mute Records. From reverse engineering corrupted audio files in order to repair 'Mark of the Faceless' to going completely traditional with the Buffalo Grove Style which got us to this point on 'Triple Action', I believe that this project really sums up the past two decades. There were some gray skies, but the progress that we made wasn't all that bad. That's also a theme in the eBook of which this happens to be its soundtrack - progress. I'll never sit here and say that our first album The Trigger Happy Mofu-s: Xplicit & ILLicit wasn't any good because we did the best that we could at the time and never stopped growing from that point. By all respects, this release probably sounds far superior to those older efforts, but again, this is the best that we could've done at the current time, and we'll continue to grow from here. Part of being a composer for soundtracks of eBooks means that I need to work very closely with the writer in order to get an idea of how the story is supposed to come off whether that particular eBook is completed or not (simply in concept form). The other part of being a composer means falling in love with the eBook series and watching the writer's back. The SpaceStation Thelion project is one of those examples of where I spoke up during our planning meetings and requested that a specific story be made. Now, I can't take credit for the plot of the eBook because this was a long time in coming, but I'd like to think that I had a small hand in its execution. Notice how I've written very little about the actual content of the album. The forethought which went into this is where my heart is at on its composition. Def Mute Records is proud to announce the release of DJ VoiceCrack's all new 8th studio album Music Inspired By Constructs of a Maniacal Mind. There is no defining Edmund Alexander Sims in an album. When he raps as E Luv, he is more than capable of defining himself, but what happens when he writes his autobiography, and I am tasked with scoring the original soundtrack? The first thing that came to mind was to center in around the central themes from the eBook - of which there were some doozies. These gave me a better idea of what needed to be accomplished. The beatz are loosely connected but epic in their own scope, flowing from one track to the next. This is much in the same way as how the autobiography reads, so the variety in the depth of music mirrors what I believe to be the variety in the depth of literary ideas which he had expressed throughout the eBook. Here, we are taking a little bit of a deviation from the normal press release etiquette because this was a personally special undertaking. Def Mute Records is proud to announce the release of DJ VoiceCrack's all new 7th studio album Music Inspired By Criticality - The Complete First Season. Whether a listener keys in on the sultry 'Watchful Eye', the immersing 'Migraine Manaqua', or the aggressive 'Shokan Jazz', it is clear that the soundtrack creates an atmosphere which is both dark but delicate. As a complement to the literary novel from which this music album was inspired, the frailty of the times during the story's setting derives the subtle call, while the story's foreboding concern creates a worrisome undertone to the answer. In producing the original score to this book, the Keyboard Master took care to, again, not hold anything back in showcasing his Buffalo Grove Style of musical composition: Orchestral Overtones, Thrash Metal, and Devastating Bass. That last sentence is actually important to note because the novel "Criticality - The Complete First Season" was not originally slated to have its own soundtrack. A lot of discussion had gone back and forth on the matter, but at the end of those discussions, the story demanded it and DJ VoiceCrack delivered.
